KEVIN COSTNER - COSTNER SURPRISED BY MOVIE FAILURE

KEVIN COSTNER is surprised his films fail to be huge commercial successes - and insists they all "have a chance to be great".
The actor-turned-moviemaker, who lent his name to a string of flops at the box office including 1995's Waterworld and 1997's The Postman, insists the film studios are to blame for his reputation for poor movies.
He says, "I am always surprised when a film of mine is not good. They all have a chance to be great, but what has happened to me on several occasions is that the film does not live up to the writing.
"The film studios gave them what they thought they wanted and short-changed them. The movie was then put around my neck - it's a Kevin Costner movie. I sometimes feel like I'm the last man standing."

I disagree with those who say that The Postman and Waterworld were "flops"
Kevin Costner makes great movies, they just don't get the backing they should!
Come on Costner fans, we can't let Kevin down...let's get out to the movies and
show the studio that there is still a market for Kevin's movies!
Because he's BORING. He's NOT sexy or even very attractive any more. He has
gotten
fat.
