COSTNER OPTS OUT OF DANCES WITH WOLVES SEQUEL
KEVIN COSTNER is refusing to star in a sequel to his 1990 Oscar-winning smash hit DANCES WITH WOLVES.
The original film scooped seven Academy Awards, including Best Director and Best Picture gongs for Costner.
Hollywood gossips claim studio bosses are keen to bring his character back for a follow up. But Costner doesn't want to be involved.
He tells Moviefone, "I'm not in it. But I've heard that ... I don't think I'm involved. I'm not planning to be involved in any way."

KC, What the hell are you thinking? Your superb production of Dances nearly 20 years
ago should have you packing your bags to Paha Sapa. I cannot believe that you do
not want to be involved in a sequel. Dances is the reason 3 generations of my family
have been to South Dakota (Center Lake)since 1990-EVERY YEAR. Think about the Native
American story that still needs to be told. You told it so wonderfully before, you
need to continue that story-you owe it to them. I will not ask you please, you know
deep in your heart what the right thing is to do. Call if you need your free consultation.
