JOHN CORBETT - CORBETT + REEVES TERRIFIED BY CAR STUNT

Actors JOHN CORBETT and KEANU REEVES were left battered, bruised and bloody after a hairy car chase scene in their new movie STREET KINGS. The two tough guys were sent rolling around inside a made-for-the-movie Go Mobile car with co-star Amaury Nolasco and a cameraman, with Corbett speeding through Los Angles. Corbett says, "It's a choreographed stunt with the real cars coming at us. A couple of times we smacked the side of a bus and there's really no special effects; that's really us flying through traffic at about 50 miles per hour for about a mile and a half. "Keanu has a handcuff in my mouth, I'm trying to drive and these two (Reeves and Nolasco) are going at it with full force. His fist is swinging by me and the wind is like a hurricane coming by and they're just going at each other, kicking each other. They're just hitting each other with everything they've got. "The director yelled cut and we had to go back to the set and they're both just sitting there rubbing their shoulders and wiping the blood off their lips. That scene was pretty intense." Reeves, the star of the new fast-paced thriller, plays a cop trying to clear his name after he's accused of killing a colleague.
