DAVID COPPERFIELD - COPPERFIELD PAL INSISTS RAPE ALLEGATIONS ARE RIDICULOUS

lllusionist DAVID COPPERFIELD's former assistant and friend CARRIE HENDERSON has offered her support to the magician as he fights rape allegations. Copperfield returned to the stage in Las Vegas on Thursday night (15Nov07) for his first show since he found himself in the middle of an F.B.I. probe into his private life - after claims he sexually assaulted a young model in the Bahamas. And, just hours before the show, Henderson went public with her thoughts about the controversy. She told U.S. TV news show Access Hollywood, "As far as being an aggressive personality type, that is not the person I know. I don't believe those allegations for a minute."
