TOM CONTI - CONTI RUNNING FOR LONDON MAYOR
Scottish actor TOM CONTI has put himself forward as a candidate for the London mayoral election in 2008. The SHIRLEY VALENTINE star plans to topple current Labour office-holder KEN LIVINGSTONE as a Conservative Party candidate, even though he isn't a supporter of the opposition party. Conti is convinced he is the man to take London forward, and is building a manifesto to oust Livingstone, who has held the powerful position since his original election in 2000. He says, "I'm not a Conservative, and I'm not Labour (ruling party) either - I'm not anything. I don't know much about the present Conservative Party, but DAVID CAMERON (party leader) seems a decent fellow. "And if they were interested in talking then of course I'd be interested in listening. Everything is negotiable in life. "I'm irritated about what's happening in London - the fact that people no longer come here. London is a wonderful city, it's a huge commercial sector, and without the commerce I'm afraid it will fall to bits. "That's what's happening now. The Americans aren't coming because of the high pound against the dollar."

well thank tom there must be tom after all.we are with you and will help in
anyway possible. to get rid of this maniac would be a treasure indeed, all of
the residents of kensington and chelsea are with you to say the least. every
person i speak to is against this red ken lunatic, that is to say from all
walks of life, the strange thing is..i have yet to come across anyone to even
likes him...who voted for him is a question that defies intellect and
intellegence of a simpler degree.. millions of votes for TOM TOM .
congratulations you are the next mayor and a real one not a .....not for

hello. is there anyone out there,, are we going to have a mayor for london that
thinks and is with us,,you certainly complain when charges are above the
belt,,so do something now vote for tom tom he is good and cares about what is
happening in london..or do you want soviet state and or police state we are
already on camera,,,remember the book 1984 and animal farm by george orwell,
ifyou dont i suggest you read it. its actually fascinating. and no i am not a
bookseller, just trying to make point
so do you want to change he system or not, if not then please continue paying
the gla tax and let red ken do what he likes to you, and dont forget somewhere
near you a congestion charge will be coming and soon, it actually is not
important where you live ,it is what red ken can screw you for that is why his
building cost us the gla payer a hefty 70 million pounds..WHY .. ALSO consider
the fact that people living in sutton, surrey actually come under the borough
of london and have to pay this gla cost plus their council tax and are not even
considered a voter as we found out after living there for some years. we were
never sent forms to agree or diagree,of course others may disagree, but is fact
that people living there did not vote because the opportunity was not available
to them at the time due to a clerical error or whatever, i do know that i
personally did not receive it and if i had i would have complained there and
then. so can we have some comments from you all who
support me and my quest to rid london and the surrounding boroughs of this evil
meglamanic, almost similar to adolf hitler.
