KEVIN CONNOLLY - CONNOLLY SIGNED TO SHOOT NEW GAME VIDEO

ENTOURAGE star KEVIN CONNOLLY is taking his directorial career in a new direction - he's making music videos for rapper THE GAME and R+B singer NE-YO.
The actor, best known for his role as Eric Murphy in the hit HBO series, was brought in to shoot the promos after his work on U.S. band Blackcowboy attracted acclaim from the music industry.
In the video for the band's single Come On, Connolly directed a cameo by supermodel Gisele Bundchen walking down Los Angeles' Melrose Avenue.
And the star is excited at the prospect of filming hip hop star The Game for forthcoming single Camera Phone - despite only having a week to complete the project.
He tells People.com, "I got hired on Wednesday and we're shooting on Tuesday. I've been scrambling around all weekend!
"It's fun because the turnaround is quick. You shoot it, you edit that week, and a week later Game will have his video. It's amazing."
And Connolly admits he was attracted to music videos because his hectic TV schedule can conflict with his desire to direct full-length movies.
He adds, "The Entourage schedule is so tight, it doesn't allow time to get involved in movies. Music videos are great because it's a directing fix for me. You can pretty much do whatever."
