COMPOSER ROSENMAN DIES




Oscar-winning film and TV composer LEONARD ROSENMAN has died of a heart attack. He was 83. The star won Academy Awards in 1975 and 1976 for his work on Stanley Kubrick's Barry Lyndon and Bound For Glory, respectively. He also won Emmy Awards for composing the music for U.S. TV series Sybil in 1976 and film Friendly Fire. Rosenman had lived at the Motion Picture and Television Country House and Hospital - a retirement and medical facility available to those working in the industry - but passed away on Tuesday (4Mar08). Rosenman, originally from New York, is survived by his wife Judie Gregg Rosenman, three children and four grandchildren.
