PHIL COLLINS - COLLINS SCORES NEW ZEALAND NUMBER ONE

Veteran rocker PHIL COLLINS has scored a number one in New Zealand with his song IN THE AIR TONIGHT - more than 25 years after it was first released.
The former Genesis singer is currently at the top of the New Zealand charts after an advert for Cadbury chocolate, featuring the track, aired on national television on Monday (30Jun08).
The tune has now beat its former 1981 chart position peak of number six.
The commercial, in which a gorilla plays the drums to Collins' song, launched in the U.K. last year (07) and has reportedly earned the star a cool $1 million (GBP500,000) in royalties.
