DOORS - COLEEN MCLOUGHLIN COMES CLEAN ON ROONEY HEARTACHE

Coleen McLoughlin has come clean for the first time about how she felt when it emerged that her boyfriend, the England footballer Wayne Rooney, visited prostitutes when they were first dating.

Writing in her autobiography, Welcome To My World, the famous wag (footballer's wife/girlfriend) confessed that the affair turned her life "upside down".

Coleen was just 16 when they began dating but only found out about the prostitutes two years later when they were engaged.

"I spent days sitting indoors thinking the whole world was against me," she wrote.

"Wayne and me were 18, we'd been together for nearly two years and were engaged to be married. The truth is, and I've never said this before, at that time in our relationship I'd never even slept with Wayne. I was only 16 and we weren't having that kind of relationship at that stage."

The pair are set to wed but it seems that the pitter patter of tiny feet are not set to be heard any time soon.

"Me and Wayne would like to get married in the near future and then we can think about having children," the Asda model added.

"Wayne would love to have a child right now but I think I'm too young."
