British businessman SIR ALAN SUGAR was blown away by the surprise shrewdness of GIRLS ALOUD singer CHERYL COLE when she appeared on a special charity edition of TV show THE APPRENTICE. The LOVE MACHINE singer stunned Sugar when she took part in the UK version of the hit series earlier this month (MAR07) for Comic Relief, alongside celebrities including RUPERT EVERETT. He says, "Cheryl Cole was very impressive. Everyone was expecting this dolly bird, but she showed street smarts, determination, great commitment and a very impressive business acumen.
