NATALIE COLE - COLE HOSPITALISED

Singer NATALIE COLE has spent the past week in a New York hospital after suffering a setback in her battle with hepatitis C.
The soul star was diagnosed with the blood disease at the beginning of the summer (08) and she recently told U.S. TV show Entertainment Tonight how weekly chemotherapy was leaving her drained.
The treatments have also been costing Cole her hair. In an exclusive E.T. interview, which aired earlier this month (Sep08), Cole said, "I do chemo every week... and we are going to go for it and cut off all my hair."
She added, "The timing of all this couldn't be worse because of my (new) record coming out. What you do is rally and you have a great group of people rally around you."
Cole also joked about the weight she's losing as a result of her health battle, adding, "I'm now (catwalk) runway size."
