COLDPLAY - COLDPLAY'S UGLY HIDEAWAY

British rockers COLDPLAY rented a building in London to hide from the paparazzi - choosing a disused bakery where no one would think to look for them.
The group are beginning a promotional campaign for forthcoming album Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends and needed a secret hideaway where they could shield themselves from the snapper's lenses.
And frontman Chris Martin came up with the perfect plan - moving into the North London property because of its dilapidated exterior.
He says, "I used to walk past it every day and think, 'What an ugly place.'
"Then one day a To Let sign appeared and I thought, 'Hmm, that place is so ugly. I bet no one would bother us if we moved in.'"
