LEONARD COHEN - COHEN REVEALS PLANS FOR FIRST WORLD TOUR IN 15 YEARS

Folk singer LEONARD COHEN is to embark on a world tour later this year (08) - his first in 15 years. The Canadian star's tour will kick off on 6 June in his native Toronto and will include dates in London; Oslo, Sweden; Lisbon, Portugal; Nice, France; Prague, Czech Republic, and Istanbul, Turkey, before concluding Vienna, Austria on 29 August. The announcement, which follows the 73-year-old's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in New York on Monday (10Mar08), does not currently feature any concerts in the U.S.
