JARVIS COCKER - COCKER + DITTO DUET RELEASED FOR CHARITY

The duet JARVIS COCKER and BETH DITTO performed at last year's (07) NME Awards has been released to raise money for a homeless charity. The former Pulp frontman and U.S. rocker Ditto performed a cover of Heaven 17 classic Temptation at the London ceremony in March 2007, and they are now making it available exclusively on download website iTunes. All proceeds from the 18 February (08) release will go to U.K. homeless charity Shelter. Cocker says, "It has taken a full 12 months for the world to be ready for this track - I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed performing it." Shelter's Adam Sampson adds, "We are delighted that two of the hottest names in the music business are donating the profits from this single to us. "By downloading Temptation you'll not only get a great track, but you'll be raising money to help homeless and badly housed people across Britain."
