Actress GLENN CLOSE was terrified of her FATAL ATTRACTION co-star MICHAEL DOUGLAS - because he was already a seasoned celebrity in Hollywood circles when they met. The shoot for the 1987 thriller got off to a shaky start - because newcomer Close, now 60, didn't think she was a compatible match for the established actor. She says, "I was kind of intimidated by Michael Douglas when we started. He seemed so deeply Hollywood, a world that I wasn't a part of, and we didn't communicate well. "But when we started working together it was great. We didn't exactly become friends, but we always enjoy it when our paths cross."
