GEORGE CLOONEY - CLOONEY: 'DANIEL DAY-LEWIS IS IRRITATING'

GEORGE CLOONEY is irritated by fellow actor DANIEL DAY-LEWIS - because the THERE WILL BE BLOOD star is so talented he puts the rest of Hollywood to shame. Both men are set to compete against Viggo Mortensen, Tommy Lee Jones and Johnny Depp for the Best Actor award at this month's (Feb08) Oscars ceremony - but Clooney is convinced it is Day-Lewis who will scoop the prize. The 46-year-old says, "If you want my honest opinion, I think it's going to be Daniel Day-Lewis. "He sort of irritates all of us because he's so good. I'll tell you right now, I don't like him!"

As a fellow Kentuckian, I agree with Clooney that Daniel Day-Lewis is so talented.
However, I don't find it irritating. I find it refreshing and I love DD-L for it.
Although there are two Kentuckians in the Best Actor category, my vote is for the
fabulous Brit. Britain is my ancestry comes from, but it wouldn't matter where it came
from DD-L is the best actor. He should have already won his second if not his third
Oscar. He was especially cheated in 1994.
