MONTY PYTHON - CLEESE SLASHES $12 MILLION OFF HOUSE SALE

MONTY PYTHON star JOHN CLEESE has sold his U.S. ranch after a year on the market - by cutting its asking price by $12 million (GBP6 million).
The British actor finally sold his 14.6 acre property in Santa Barbara, California for $16.6 million (GBP8.3 million).
Cleese is currently enbattled in divorce proceedings with his wife Alyce Faye Eichelberger Cleese and was forced in May (08) to pay her $150,000 (GBP75,000) a month in temporary maintenance fees.
He says, "It's going to be very, very expensive but it will be worth every penny."
