MONTY PYTHON star JOHN CLEESE has pledged his political allegiance to U.S. presidential hopeful BARACK OBAMA - after offering to write his speeches.
The actor - who currently lives in California - admits he's an admirer of Democratic candidate Obama, and will be on call for the politician if he wins the battle against Hillary Clinton to represent his party later this year (08).
He says, "I am due to come to Europe in November (08), but I may be tied up until then because if Barack Obama gets the nomination, I'm going to offer my services to him as a speech writer. I think he's a brilliant man."
