JOHN CLEESE - CLEESE DENIES DATING YOUNGER WOMAN

British funnyman JOHN CLEESE has laughed off rumours he's romancing a woman 34 years his junior, insisting he's not yet ready to give up his "selfish" ways.
The Fawlty Towers star, 68, was alleged to be dating blonde marketing executive Veronica Smiley, 34, just months after splitting from his third wife Alyce Faye Eichelberger in January 2008.
But he claims their relationship has been vastly exaggerated by the media.
He says, "Oh, Smiley's great fun. She's helping me with a speech I have to do on marketing. But that all got blown up.
"I don't want to have to start being unselfish again. The great thing about being on your own is you do what you damn well like."
