R+B star CIARA stunned the audience at the Hip Hop Summit Action Awards on Monday (25Feb08), when she read her award acceptance speech from her cellphone. The singer was honoured at the New York bash, alongside Snoop Dogg, Doug E. Fresh and Chris Lighty. But Ciara wasn't prepared for her moment in the limelight, and whipped out her Blackberry when it was her turn to address the starstudded crowd. Pointing to her head, she said, "I'm short on sleep, so I'm not going to rely on this memory stick." She waved her phone, and added, "I'm going to use this one."
