CHARLOTTE CHURCH - CHURCH TO LAUNCH CHILDREN'S CAMPAIGN

British singer CHARLOTTE CHURCH has joined forces with a U.K. children's charity to help raise $8 million (GBP4 million). The mother-of-one is following in the footsteps of celebrities Dame Shirley Bassey and Catherine Zeta Jones by becoming a patron for the Noah's Ark Appeal. The charity needs the funds to provide vital medical equipment and facilities for the Children's Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, which looks after more than 8,000 in-patients a year.
