CHARLOTTE CHURCH - CHURCH: I WANT A SIMPLE 21ST

Welsh loudmouth CHARLOTTE CHURCH is planning a quiet night in with boyfriend GAVIN HENSON and her family to celebrate turning 21.

The mouthy Welsh singer, once dubbed the "Voice of an Angel", has determined to avoid the clubs and bars she frequented so often over the last few years in favour of the simple comforts of home, according to her spokeswoman.

And Church, who seems to be trying to move on from her recent boozy life, has admitted that if rugby star beau Henson was to propose on her big day, she would say "I do".

"If Gavin gave me an engagement ring I'd say yes - probably - but it's really not a big deal," she said.

"But I've told him not to go nuts with my birthday presents because then we start having to outdo each other, which is really time-consuming!"

The modest singer also admitted she had only asked her family for simple gifts, telling the Mirror: "'I've got loads of stuff and anything I want I can buy myself."

Church, who made millions from her singing as a child star, is due to return to UK TV soon in the second series of her late-night Channel 4 chat show.
