HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN - CHRISTENSEN DREAMS OF LAVENDER FIELDS

Movie star HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN is considering turning his 200 acre (80.9 hectares) farm outside Toronto, Canada into a lavender mecca. The Star Wars star has big plans for his country retreat - he even hopes to rear livestock. Ambitious Christensen, who already owns a pair of Vietnamese pot-bellied pigs, says, "(I'll) start off with some cattle and horses, then get a little more inventive. Get some sheep, some goats. Maybe an alpaca." But it's lavender fields he has his heart set on: "It doesn't require much maintenance, but apparently it's a bitch to harvest, because you have to cut it all by hand."
