RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS - CHILI PEPPERS TRIUMPH AT READING

Red Hot Chili Peppers triumphed in their headline set at Reading festival, despite reports of slight sound problems.
After playing a set mainly formed of greatest hits, the Californian band seemed to be experiencing sound problems, but ploughed on nonetheless.
Their set was preceded by Arcade Fire and Bloc Party who both proved popular with the Reading crowd.
Bloc Party have had a busy summer promoting their second album A Weekend in the City, while Arcade Fire will continue to tour their follow-up for some time.
The weather has been holding up at the site, with yesterday's sun spilling over into the final day and creating a hot atmosphere.
Tonight's headliners included The Smashing Pumpkins, Fall Out boy, Klaxons, LCD Soundsystem and Jamie T.
Meanwhile at the Leeds site, fans can look forward to gigs from yesterday's Reading headliners, with the Chili Peppers likely to deliver a similar greatest hits set.
