TINA FEY - CHILDHOOD KNIFE ATTACK LEFT FUNNY FEY WITH A SCARRED FACE

U.S. comedienne TINA FEY's famous facial scar was the result of a childhood knife attack, according to her husband.
The Emmy Award-winning 30 Rock and Mean Girls writer/star rarely talks about the incident, but her husband, Jeff Richmond, reveals all in a new Vanity Fair interview.
He tells the publication, "She just thought somebody marked her with a pen."
Richmond explains his wife was five at the time, adding he thinks the scar by her left cheek is one of the most beautiful things about his wife: "That scar was fascinating to me. This is somebody who, no matter what it was, has gone through something. And I think it really informs the way she thinks about her life."
Asked to comment further on the knife attack, Fey tells the publication, "It's impossible to talk about it without somehow seemingly exploiting it and glorifying it."
