CHERYL COLE 'NOT QUITTING BAND'

GIRLS ALOUD singer Cheryl Cole has said she has no intention of quitting the band, despite her role as a judge on the X-Factor.

The singer said the thought of leaving the hugely-successful girlband makes her feel "horrible".

Speaking to the Guardian about the impact of projects outside the band, Cheryl said the members always find their way back to the fold.

"I mean, I'm not comparing us to Destiny's Child, but they all went off and did their own things but then came back to the group," she said.

Bandmate Nicola Roberts agreed, saying that the closeness of the band comes through in their hits.

"If somebody else had sung Love Machine it wouldn't have had the same effect because it's about the chemistry," she explained.

Elsewhere, Cheryl has claimed that Victoria Beckham's clothing line is for "older women" and not something her and her bandmates would be interested in.
