CHER - CHER MAKES WAVES AS PROPERTY QUEEN

Pop star CHER has added property developer to her impressive resume after putting a desert property she spent two years renovating on the market. The singer/actress bought the Palm Springs, California estate for $650,000 (GBP333,300) in 2004 and is now asking $2.5 million (GBP1.3 million) for the home. Cher hired local architect STEVE DE CHRISTOPHER to redesign the interior of the Las Palmas home, which was built in 1938, encouraging him to give the place a "touch of Cher". The thrilled singer says, "I'm very happy with the way it came out." Enthused by the renovation, Cher plans to completely redesign the interior of her Malibu, California home for the second time later this year (07).
