JUSTIN CHAMBERS - CHAMBERS 'DOING FINE' AFTER HOSPITAL STAY

GREY'S ANATOMY star JUSTIN CHAMBERS is doing "just fine" after his brief stay at the psychiatric ward of a Los Angeles hospital last month (Jan08), according to his co-star CHANDRA WILSON. The actor, who plays Dr. Alex Karev in the medical drama, voluntarily checked himself in to the UCLA Medical Center at the end of January to seek help for a "sleeping disorder" - the same time Britney Spears was being treated at the hospital. But Wilson - who plays Dr. Miranda Bailey on the TV show - insists her colleague is recovering well. She says, "Everybody goes through stuff. It's no different than anybody else in the world. We just happen to be in the public eye... Justin's doing just fine." And another of Chambers' co-stars, James T. Pickens, who recently spoke to the 37-year-old actor, adds: "(Justin) just needed a break. He said: 'Man, I'm fine.'"
