GALLOWS - CARTER ENFORCES MEDIA BAN

GALLOWS frontman FRANK CARTER is boycotting interviews because he is sick of having his words twisted by the press. The British singer will enforce his media ban at the end of the year (07) because he hates seeing manufactured stories that claim he is contemplating quitting - rumours he strenuously denies. And Carter hopes the press will now pay more attention to the group's founding member Laurent 'Lags' Barnard. He says, "Once we get past Christmas, I don't want to do any more press. A lot of people regurgitate stuff they've read before and they can't be bothered to think of anything to say, then neither can I. "I'm the worst member of Gallows to talk to. People should focus on Lags because without him, there's no Gallows. He's a genius."
