CARRERE CRITICISES HOLLYWOOD SEXISM
TIA CARRERE has hit out at the dwindling career options of actresses in Hollywood, after being cast as the girlfriend of an actor who once played her father.
The 40-year-old starred as the daughter of 59-year-old actor Richard Lewis' character in 1989 TV show Anything But Love - she now plays his girlfriend in Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Carrere says, "I play Richard Lewis's girlfriend, a character named Cha-Cha. What's funny is that 18 years ago I played Richard Lewis's daughter in Anything But Love.
"In another couple of years I'm going to be playing his mother, I think. It's the trajectory of a female career in this business."
