Tragic TRAFFIC star JIM CAPALDI's widow ANINHA is putting the finishing touches to a lyric book her late husband started with ROBERT PLANT before he died. Capaldi had started a tome of poems and lyrics to his hits years before he was diagnosed with cancer in 2004 - and even recruited pal Plant to write an introduction. But the book was unfinished when Capaldi died in 2005, and now his widow has chosen to complete it. Aninha says, "It's a promise that I made him, so I'm starting on that the next couple of months." And the ambitious widow is hoping to follow that with a new official Traffic anthology and biography. She adds, "It was always a wish for Jim to do a Traffic Anthology and biography, which I am collecting material for. I've been talking with Steve (Winwood) and Dave (Mason) and the record company. "I found some old tapes but Jim wasn't organised, and neither am I, but I am being forced to go through whatever is here that hasn't disappeared or been given away. "I have found performance footage of some incredible Traffic concerts in America and footage of them rehearsing in their homes and footage on the road from the late 60s, early 70s. The condition is not as great as we wish it was but, with technology, a lot can be improved."
