MARIAH CAREY's new husband NICK CANNON lost his famous confidence when he first saw his bride-to-be dressed in white - because he was too busy trying not to faint of cry.
The cocky actor and entrepreneur lost his cool as he waited to exchange vows with the pop superstar last week (30Apr08) - because Carey was a stunning vision in white.
The couple jetted off to the Bahamas to wed in secret on the patio on Carey's island retreat, and Cannon had no idea his wedding day would be so emotional for him.
He explains, "I haven't been shy in years, but I was speechless. I was elated, but I was thinking, 'Don't pass out.'
"What the pastor did was really cool. He said, 'The eyes are the window to the soul,' then gave us an entire minute to stare into each other's eyes. So I was saying, 'Don't cry.'"
