GEORGE CLOONEY - CAMPAIGNING CLOONEY ADVISED BY BONO

i agree smokey - he has become a mentor to so many, and very much so to us trying to do our part to help make poverty history. his inspiration is far reaching and is one thing, but his focus and knowledge and wisdom in the issues is something that cannot be defied. he surfaces often in the different NGO's i volunteer with, from Jubilee (Drop the Debt) USA, to Bread for the World, to World Vision, to of course ONE and DATA, let alone (red). at a conference in DC last week, Sam Daley-Harris, founder of RESULTS, put it this way, that we can do good things, great things and lives will be saved, and we should. but it's going to take revolutionary things to make poverty history. and with Bono his things are revolutionary. and i'm proud to observe them and participate in them when i can. maybe a different level of advising than that provided to clooney, but i'm a willing learner as well. sammi =)

Good and sincere people always come away from talks with Bono with new respect for Bono's knowledge and ability to focus on the issues. Clooney is riding high right now and, like Bono, using his celebrity to help the suffering people in Africa and elsewhere. These are good people.
