Veteran actor SIR MICHAEL CAINE's last memory of collecting unemployment benefit as a younger man was seeing SIR SEAN CONNERY two places in front of him. Caine and Connery, who went on to star in 1975's The Man Who Would Be King together, have been friends since they met as struggling actors in the late 1950s. Caine says, "I always remember, we were having very hard times and we used to always go and queue for the social security benefit, the unemployment money. "And the last time I ever queued for that, Sean was two guys in front of me."
