NICOLAS CAGE - CAGE WANTS THE FLY

NICOLAS CAGE is vying for the part of THE FLY in a planned remake of DAVID CRONENBERG's 1986 cult classic, according to the director himself.
Cronenberg, who is working on an operatic version of the creepy man-insect story, will not be involved in the remake, but he has been kept abreast of developments.
He tells E! "From what I hear, Nic Cage wants the part."
