COREY C-MURDER MILLER - C-MURDER ESCAPES JAIL
LATEST: Rapper COREY 'C-MURDER' MILLER has escaped further jail time after a Louisiana judge ruled last week (13JUL06) that he hadn't broken the terms of his house arrest by visiting a fast food restaurant during a court-approved excursion in May (06). Judge MARTHA SASSONE declared her confidence in the troubled hip-hop star by releasing him from the home incarceration programme he has been subjected to while awaiting a retrial for murder. The NO LIMIT star was freed in March (06) after being wrongly incarcerated in 2003 for the shooting of 16-year-old STEVE THOMAS in Louisiana the previous year (JAN02). He was ordered to wear a monitor so authorities could track his movements, which were largely restricted to his home, and was only allowed visits from his family and priest. While Miller will no longer be confined to home-monitoring, his release will still be closely supervised. AllHipHop.com reports the rapper must abide by a 10 pm curfew and he is banned from drinking and going to bars.
