TALKING HEADS star DAVID BYRNE was shocked by his first visit to Swedish furniture chain Ikea - because the mocked-up rooms confused him. The singer was so perplexed by the rooms and kitchens on display in the store, he wasn't convinced he was in a shop rather than someone's home. He says, "Immediately I thought, who lives here? What do they do? Why is that book on the table? Is it significant?"
