BURKE BEATS BASS TO TAKE DANCING TITLE

Model BROOKE BURKE has won U.S. TV talent show DANCING WITH THE STARS.
The TV personality beat out competition from NFL star Warren Sapp and former 'N Sync singer Lance Bass - who was booted out of the finale first, landing the season's third place.
Burke, who is a mother of four, has been the favourite to win throughout the series, which saw celebrity competitors including Oscar-winner Cloris Leachman and young actor Cody Linley.
Burke worried fans after she injured her foot during a dance routine, but made a rousing return to form - scoring top points 16 times.
The star's professional dance partner Derek Hough says, "I actually can't believe it. I really can't. I honestly can't. The journey's been so long. It's been tough. It's been wonderful."
Previous finalists in the hit TV show include former Spice Girl Melanie Brown, actor Mario Lopez and Bass' former bandmate Joey Fatone.
