EMMA BUNTON - BUNTON LAUGHS OFF SPICE GIRLS INFIGHTING REPORTS

Singer EMMA BUNTON has fiercely rejected reports the SPICE GIRLS comeback tour was blighted by infighting, insisting the band's official reason for ending the trek prematurely was genuine. The Wannabe stars thrilled fans last year (07) by announcing a reunion world tour, but left thousands of concertgoers in Asia, Africa, South America and Australia heartbroken when they decided to quit the roadtrip early, on 26 February (08). However, Bunton is adamant the group decided to stop performing to be with their families - as they stated at the time - and is mystified by rumours the singers fell out and couldn't bear to be in each other's company. She says, The tour was special for everyone. We were having the best time, contrary to some reports. We were supposed to be at each other's throats when we were actually having a great laugh. "We've grown up. We had far better things to do than argue amongst ourselves. It was emotionally charged., though, because we've shared to much history. "It ended because we wanted to get back home to normal family life and the kids needed to get back to school, simple as that. There is no question of us falling out."
