BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB - BUENA VISTA PLAY THROUGH THE RAIN

Legendary Cuban band BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB braved heavy rain to bring a taste of the Caribbean to Essex, England on Saturday (21Jul07). The Chan Chan hitmakers, comprising of trumpeter Manuel 'Guajiro' Mirabal, bassist Orlando 'Cachaito' Lopez, guitarist Manuel Galban and trombone player Jesus 'Aguaje' Ramos, performed to thousands of mackintosh-wearing fans at the 17th century Audley End House. Fans spent hours in the muddy estate and were entertained by up and coming jazz singer Joanna Eden, before the Latin stars' headlined.
