Singer MUTYA BUENA left English girl group SUGABABES because she was suffering from post-natal depression. Buena, who releases her debut solo album later this year (07), quit the pop trio in December 2005 to spend time with her baby TAHLIA MAYA. She says, "I suffered from post-natal depression after my daughter Tahlia was born. "That was part of me wanting to leave the group. Everything became a downer and I just couldn't be bothered. "But it did get to the point where I couldn't take any more and it was horrible. All you know is that you feel down and you want to cry." And the 21-year-old admits she was forced to choose between her daughter and the band. She adds, "My daughter got ill and we had to do a show, so I think when those things started happening people started getting frustrated with me. "I told everyone I could not choose between my daughter and work because there's no way I would choose work. My daughter could get ill and then I'm going to have to kill everyone if anything happens to her. It's simple."
