MICHAEL BUBLE - BUBLE HEADLINES AUSSIE WEDDING

LATEST: Canadian crooner MICHAEL BUBLE provided the entertainment at the wedding of Australia's richest man JAMES PACKER last week (19Jun07). Buble brought his actress girlfriend Emily Blunt to the wedding reception of Packer and Erica Baxter, which followed a civil ceremony in the Antibes resort on the French Riviera. The Call Me Irresponsible hitmaker says, "It's my second wedding ever. The first time I did a wedding was for the Canadian Prime Minister's daughter (in 2000) and that's where I got my record deal. There was a lot less pressure this time around. "I met (James and Erica) before. They were warm and lovely. I said 'Is there anything you want me to do? and Mr Packer said 'Just have fun, that's it'." Hollywood couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were also in attendance.
