GARTH BROOKS - BROOKS RELEASES SPECIAL EDITION OF ALBUM FOR CHARITY

Country superstar GARTH BROOKS is releasing a special edition of his upcoming album THE ULTIMATE HITS to raise money for breast cancer awareness. A 'pink edition' of Brooks' greatest hits disc will be available through cancer charity Susan G. Komen For The Cure from 6 November (07), with $10 (GBP5) of the album's $15 (GBP7.50) retail price going straight to the organisation. Brooks decided to team up with Komen after his wife Trisha Yearwood took part in a fundraising walk organised by the charity. He says, "I've never been more proud of her (Yearwood). So I immediately started to think, how can I be that cool?"
