BOYZONE - BOYZONE BACK ON THE ROAD

Boyzone have jumped on the reunion bandwagon and announced that all five original members will perform on their first UK tour in seven years.

The Irish boyband last performed together in January 2000, shortly after Ronan Keating had announced he was to take time off from the group to pursue a solo career.

But following Geri Halliwell's lead - she left the Spice Girls to go solo but has rejoined the reunited band - Keating will sing alongside band-mates Stephen Gately, Shane Lynch, Keith Duffy and Mikey Graham on their new tour.

"We've been talking about getting back together for some time now. I can't wait to be back on the road and all the guys feel the same," the Life is a Rollercoaster star said.

He added: "Our live shows were always great fun but this time it will definitely be the best night out ever."

The ten-date series of concerts will kick off at London's O2 Arena on May 30th 2008 and conclude in Glasgow on June 23rd.

Boyzone had confirmed a one-off reunion performance for the BBC's Children in Need charity show this Friday, but Keating said rehearsals for the show "made us want to tour together again".

The five-piece join a reunited Take That - about to embark on their second UK tour since reforming in 2006 - and the Spice Girls in going back on the road years after splitting up.
