BOY GEORGE AXES GIG AFTER SALES FLOP

BOY GEORGE has axed a concert on his new comeback tour - after selling less than a hundred tickets for the gig.
The former Culture Club frontman, 47, was due to perform onstage at the 2,200 capacity Portsmouth Guildhall in Hampshire, England on Tuesday (13Oct08) as part of his The Boy Is Back In Town tour of the U.K.
But the venue organisers have announced the gig has since been cancelled - after the star reportedly sold just 89 tickets.
