RAZORLIGHT rocker JOHNNY BORRELL has recorded a "solar-powered" song to highlight global warming.
Earlier today (30May07), Borrell and a violinist taped Funeral Blues at The Premises in Hoxton, London. The recording studio is powered by 18 solar panels.
The track was recorded in support of charity Friends Of The Earth's Big Ask campaign, which is calling for a law ensuring the UK cuts its carbon dioxide emissions by at least three per cent annually.
Funeral Blues is available to download online for free for two weeks from website FOE.co.uk.
