BONO INVESTS IN FORBES

Irish rocker BONO has invested in a stake in publishing giant Forbes' offshoot company Forbes Media. The U2 frontman and staunch human rights campaigner's decision may cause a stir among fans with the move, which sees him affiliate himself with a magazine associated with materialism and wealth. But the rocker's business partner ROGER MCNAMEE insists Bono's investment is by no means straying from the anti-poverty path. MCNamee says, "The way you solve poverty is giving people the tools to overcome it."
