Rocker JON BON JOVI has slammed reports he is unhappy with bandmate RICHIE SAMBORA for dating actress DENISE RICHARDS - because she takes attention away from their music. Sambora and Richards started dating in April 2006 after the rocker separated from actress HEATHER LOCKLEAR and Richards separated from CHARLIE SHEEN. A source tells the New York Daily News, "Jon does not like Denise. She's distracting. "There's too much media attention when Denise is around, and Jon thinks she's really annoying and doesn't like when Richie's around her." But a representative for the singer slams the rumours he doesn't like Richards, calling the reports, "Not true." The WILD THINGS star caused a media storm when she visited the band in Dublin, Ireland during their last tour and the couple are regular targets of the tabloid media.
