JON BON JOVI - BON JOVI BACK ON POLITICAL PATH?
Rocker JON BON JOVI has further fuelled rumours he is set for a political career after having an intense two-hour chat with former vice president AL GORE. The star met the politician-turned-environmentalist in New Jersey on Friday (30Nov07), despite last month (Nov07) dismissing claims he was considering following in the footsteps of Arnold Schwarzenegger and running for office. Bon Jovi fuelled speculation of a politically-minded career change by hiring public relations guru Ken Sunshine - who was once chief of staff for former New York Mayor David Dinkins - with his history of performing at fundraisers for high profile Democrats including Al Gore and John Kerry hinting he planned to enter the field. And his latest meeting with Gore has reignited rumours Bon Jovi wants to become a politician. A source tells British newspaper The Mirror, "They both love music and were discussing Robert Plant's new album. But they weren't talking about music for two hours. "Politics came up too. Maybe Jon was getting a few tips."
