Bollywood beauty PREITY ZINTA will be witness-in-chief in a defamation case she has filed against an Indian newspaper. Zinta filed the lawsuit last year (05), accusing the Mumbai-based tabloid of publishing an article about an alleged taped conversation between stars SALMAN KHAN and AISHWARYA RAI in which she was mentioned in a negative light. A forensic laboratory later testified that the voices on the tapes were not those of Khan and Rai. Zinta was due to appear in court this week (begs11DEC06), but the case has been adjourned until 23 January (06).
